#Squire affinity strat series
The Squier Affinity Series Jazz Bass sports two Squier single-coil J Bass pickups for a wide variety of tones. It’s available in Lake Placid Blue (laurel fingerboard), Charcoal Frost Metallic (laurel fingerboard), Olympic White (maple fingerboard) and Black (maple fingerboard). The Squier Affinity Series Precision Bass PJ has a split single-coil P Bass middle pickup and a single-coil J Bass bridge pickup, as well as a standard 34-inch scale. It’s available in Lake Placid Blue (maple fingerboard), Black (maple fingerboard) and Charcoal Frost Metallic (laurel fingerboard). It’s also got a metal control plate, and a large three-ply pickguard across its offset body. This stripped-back bass features a slightly short 32-inch scale length, and a single humbucker, for a “fat, punchy tone”. It’s available in Burgundy Mist and Lake Placid Blue, both with a laurel fingerboard. It’s loaded with two Squier single-coil Jazzmaster pickups with three-way switching, again a departure from its predecessor’s humbuckers. The Squier Affinity Series Jazzmaster has a modern two-point vibrato bridge – a notable departure from previous Affinity Jazzmasters, which had hardtail bridges. It’s available in Burgundy Mist (laurel fingerboard), Charcoal Frost Metallic (laurel Fingerboard) and Black (maple fingerboard). The Squier Affinity Series Telecaster Deluxe adds a larger pickguard and two humbuckers, each with individual volume and tone controls. A left-handed version is available in Butterscotch Blonde with a maple fingerboard for the same price.
It’s available in Lake Placid Blue (laurel fingerboard), Olympic White (laurel Fingerboard), Three-Colour sunburst (maple fingerboard) and Butterscotch Blonde (maple fingerboard). It comes with a six-saddle hardtail bridge rather than a vintage-style three-saddle. The Squier Affinity Series Telecaster is loaded with dual Squier single-coil Tele pickups with three-way switching.
